Legal Aid is a government funded service that assists people with funding their legal matters. Legal Aid provides access to legal advice and representation to people who meet their eligibility criteria.  

 

The eligibility criteria is based on a number of factors including; financial means, and the nature and seriousness of the legal problems in dispute.
